Learn Basics Engineering Graphics EG Tutorial As Per GTU < Kachhua

Dear Students,

Good Morning and a warm welcome to today's class.

It feels really nice to meet up for yet another class this morning.

We will continue with projections of Solids or 3 D figures

Exercise - Projection of solids - 4

Axis inclined to the VP.

Q 1. Draw the projections (FV & TV) of a square prism of base side 30 mm and height 60 mm having its axis at angle of 45 degress to the VP. One of the faces of the prism is in the VP and two of its edges are parallel to the HP.

Q 2. Draw the projections of a triangular prism of base side 40 mm and height 70 mm having its axis inclined to the VP at 45 degrees. One of the triangular faces of the prism is 10 mm away from the VP and parallel to it. Also one of the face edges is perpendicular to the HP.

Q 3. Draw the projections of a hexagonal prism of base edge 40 mm and height 70 mm having its axis inclined to the VP at 60 degrees. The prism is placed in a way that two of its face edges are perpendicular to the HP.

Q 4. Draw the projections of a pentagonal prism of base edge 40 mm and height 80 mm having its axis at angle of 30 degrees with the VP.

Q 5. Draw the projections of a hexagonal pyramid of base edge 40 mm and height 70 mm having its axis inclined to the VP at 45 degrees. The prism is placed in such a way that two of its base edges are perpendicular to the HP.

Q 6. Draw the projections of a pentagonal pyramid of base edge 40 mm and height 80 mm having its axis inclined to the VP at 60 degrees. The pyramid is placed in such a way that one of its face edges is parallel to the HP.
