The theme of the day is 'Positive Thinking'.

"Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." - Victor Hugo

You must have heard people ask you to think positive and remain hopeful. Did you ever wonder why is it so?

It is natural human tendency to think negative and feel overwhelmed with pessimistic thoughts and fear. Such a situation is not conducive for maintaining equanimity and composure. Negative thoughts are self defeating and do not allow us to perform our tasks to the optimum. Furthermore, these thoughts unsettle us and fill us with anxiety. Should we allow these negative thoughts to take control over us? No, never. So what is the way out?

Haven't you heard of the quote, what you sow is what you reap. We should always fill ourselves with positive thoughts and good results will be obtained. Read and learn about examples of motivating situations and events. What we should understand is that there is light at the end of a tunnel. Even the darkest of nights is followed by a beautiful sunrise. In similar manner we should always be hopeful that the bad times will wither away and there will be arrival of good times. We just need to keep faith and patience.

Our mind is a wonderful machine. Whatever it can think, our body can achieve. Therefore it is important to consider what is being sowed in your mind. If you sow negative thoughts, you will reap only failure. Similarly, if you sow good and uplifting thoughts, you will reap success. We should form a good habit of thinking positive and remaining hopeful even in worst situations. If one can dream big only then can he achieve his dreams. Therefore, the first step to achieving something big is to think about it and acquiring all the information about it. If one cannot think positive and big, how do you think it can be achieved?

Thinking positive, relieves us of our troubles and immediate bad mood or temperament. Thinking positive instills new energy into ourselves and propels us all the way to success. We become aware of our purpose in life and get streamlined in achieving our goals. That is why it is such a powerful tool that a person can achieve so much more than what he thought was possible. Thinking positive boosts creativity, productivity and efficiency which make it so much easier to achieve any big task or goal.

So, make it your habit to think positive and big, and this is the start of all achievements in life.
